John Deere collectors, restorers & enthusiasts.

“Gathering” Highlights


These are the highlights      Hi, I'm Meli. One of my duties as hostess of the "Gathering" web site is to tell you about the scheduled activities and attractions of this conference. As more information comes in, you'll see more underlined links below. Also, each picture in the slideshow at the left is a highlight from a previous conference. If you click on one, you'll go to the page that describes that feature for 2010.
2010 "Gathering" Dates: March 17, 18, 19 & 20, 2010
Location: River Center (convention), 136 E. Third St., Davenport, Iowa
Theme: “Where Friends Meet”

Hotel Reservations:
  • Reservations are now being taken at the Best Western SteepleGate Inn, 100 W 76th Street, Davenport, IA 52806. Phone # 800-373-6900 or 563-386-6900.
  • The host hotel, Radisson Quad City Plaza, and the Clarion Inn are fully booked.
  • Shuttle service will be available between the hotels and the River Center.
Registration opens Nov. 1, 2009 and closes Feb. 15, 2010

  • Special over-the-road tours to Sindt Antique Museum in Keystone, IA; the McKinley/Huber Implement Museum in Quincy, IL; House on the Rock, Spring Green, WI; and Big River Resources (ethanol plant), West Burlington, IA
  • Local tours include Kenny Bush Museum; historic Deere homes; Wallace Gardens; Sears Manufacturing, Boetje’s Mustard, John Deere Pavilion, John Deere Store; Deere & Company World Headquarters/TPC Deere Run; and Quad Cities Area Tractor Collections.
