JOHN DEERE FACTORY TOURS -- QUAD CITIES SIGN UP FOR JOHN DEERE FACTORY TOURS IS NOW CLOSED Read Carefully! Thanks to the assistance of Deere & Company Guest Services, the procedure to sign up for factory tours in the Quad Cities will again be greatly simplified. You will call Guest Services and request that your name and the names of those in your party be added to the tour(s) of your choice based on available space. That’s all there is to it! Near the date of the conference, the lists will be forwarded to “Gathering” organizers. The lists will be posted near the check-in area outside the main ballroom. “Gathering” officials will arrange for bus transportation. A fee of $3 per person will be collected as you board the buses to cover “Gathering” expenses for transportation. There is no charge for the tours of Deere & Company factories. IMPORTANT – buses will leave 45 minutes prior to the respective factory tour starting time. GUIDELINES FOR VISITING JOHN DEERE FACTORIES IN THE QUAD CITIES Tour participants must be 13 years of age or older. All participants must wear closed-toe shoes. No sandals allowed. Video cameras are not permitted inside the factories. Due to changes in factory schedules, tours are subject to cancellation. The procedure to sign up for John Deere Factory Tours in the Quad Cities: · Call Guest Services at 1-877-255-2008 between 7:30 a.m. & 3:30 p.m., CST, Monday through Friday. · Provide your name, telephone number and the names of those in your party · Specify the factory or factories you and your party would like to tour · Give the day, date, hour and factory name of the tour(s) you are requesting TOURS OF JOHN DEERE FACTORIES IN THE QUAD CITIES: Harvester Works – manufactures combines Seeding Group – manufactures Max-Emerge & Flexi Planters Davenport Works – manufactures industrial loaders, motor graders, log skidders & ADT trucks NOTE: The Seeding Group tours are 1½ hour walking tours; the Harvester Works and Davenport Works tours are 1½ hour riding tours.
