Hi, I'm Meli and I guess you have already figured out that I am on the STAFF of the "Gathering of the Green". I even get to introduce the BAND.
On Wednesday evening, March 14, at 7:00 p.m., join us to kick off the conference with a welcome and social get-together in the River Center's spacious Mississippi River Hall. Look, the tables are already set up and waiting for you:
.
The evening will include the opportunity to chat with friends, meet new John Deere enthusiasts and enjoy John Deere cookies and Whitey’s ice cream along with coffee and soft drinks.. A cash bar will also be available. While enjoying the social atmosphere, you’ll find it difficult not to tap your toes while listening to blue grass, county western, western swing and good old American music from Iowa City’s Harvest Home Band.
Be sure to allow time to view the beautiful displays in the River Center focusing on the 2012 theme of “Generations of Power.” In addition, a special guest may drop by to greet John Deere enthusiasts who have come from all sections of North America to attend the “Gathering.”
